MAGA Land

America's Most Dangerous Theme Park

PCB Commentary

Welcome to MAGA LAND, America's newest theme park, where facts are forbidden, cruelty is entertainment, and Donald Trump is the world's most enthusiastic carnival barker.

Climb aboard the Big Lie Roller Coaster, where the 2020 election never ends and every twist leads back to a stolen-election conspiracy. Experience the January 6 Capitol Storming Adventure, where attacking democracy is just another thrill ride.

And don't miss the Deportation Drop Tower. It's guaranteed to make your stomach turn.

Over at the Retribution House of Mirrors, Trump sees enemies everywhere: judges, journalists, prosecutors, political opponents, and anyone else who refuses to tell him he's the greatest president in history.

Naturally, MAGA LAND has rules. Reality is prohibited beyond the entrance. Critical thinking will be confiscated. And anyone caught checking facts will be escorted off the premises.

The park's star attraction, of course, is Donald Trump himself. Part carnival barker, part snake-oil salesman, he promises the greatest show on Earth. Never mind that the roller coaster is coming off the rails, the funhouse is full of imaginary enemies, and the attractions are frighteningly real.

What makes MAGA LAND different from an ordinary amusement park is that the consequences don't disappear when the ride ends. Election lies undermine public trust. Political violence threatens democratic government. Deportation policies tear families apart. Retribution campaigns turn the machinery of government against perceived enemies.

But the crowds keep cheering. Every new outrage is another attraction. Every broken norm is another thrill. And every warning is dismissed as fake news.

There's just one problem with MAGA LAND.

The whole country is strapped into the ride—and there's no exit.
