They compare refugees seeking help at our border to Russia’s illegal invasion with tanks, armed drones, fighter jets, bombs, and soldiers. Immigrants are not invading our border to kill us. Meanwhile, Putin is bombing hospitals and daycare centers. This is an extremely stupid and callous equivalence. Republicans argue that we can’t support Ukraine because they care about our debt. Somehow, the people who helped Trump add over $7.8 trillion to our national debt keep a straight face while making this argument.
